چکیده

This position paper advocates the application of self-organization to large systems comprising robotic agents, informational (i.e. software) agents, and human beings. This would permit the construction of systems that are robust, flexible, and adaptive in a wide variety of hostile or dangerous environments, including those relevant to military operations, homeland security, and public safety. * This report may be used for any non-profit purpose provided that the source is credited.
